This listing is for 1 T-Type Thermocouple extension cable, with a standard female to stadard male T-type thermocouple connector. They conform to the standard round (4.0 mm and 4.8 mm pin) connector dimensions and the T-Type Thermocouple Extension Wire specification. This means the metal prongs and the wire are made from compensating metal, the same material as the T-type thermocouple wire, which is copper / constantan. This means the impact of the T-type extension wire on the temperature reading is minimized.

These T-type extension cables are frequently usedin industrial setting on machines and in battery labs for lithium ion and other advanced batteries that are used in handheld devices and electric cars. They also are used in cold temperature and cryogenics, since they can transmit the temperature signal at very low temperatures.
